It was all a dream...

This weekend I spent most of my time at home..cleaning and being a wife..and since I don't live in a mansion YET, it didn't take me all weekend to tidy up. After finishing my household duties (lol) I found there was NOTHING on tv!After flippin through all the channels about 3 times, I came across a movie on the good ol' Lifetime channel.

With a name like "Lunch at Tiffany's" I was intrigued. Don't be fooled by the similarity of the title though, other than the title and the store, Lunch is nothing like the all time classic "Breakfast at Tiffany's" starring Ms.Hepburn.
In the movie, Alyssa Milano's character has an imaginary friend as a child. Every year for her birthday her mother takes her to the Tiffany's on 5th Ave. (lucky ducky!) and on her 10th birthday she "loses" her imaginary friend for good (at Tiffany's!). Fast forward to her adult life and behold she runs into her imaginary friend who is now a hot man..and he's no longer imaginary. I'm not really a chick flick kind of girl but it was a cute movie...I might be bias 'cause I LOVE Tiff's..but overall it wasn't bad.
Just so I don't ruin the movie...I'll just say I found my DREAM ring in this movie!
I've LOVED canary diamonds since I first laid eyes on them. I've always known I wanted a combo of both clear and yellow diamonds...something square/emerald-y in the center....diamonds on the band too...
TADAAAA!!!!
ISN'T SHE BEAUTIFUL?...I think I'll call her SUNSHINE!
I am IN LOVE with this ring and I know it's only a matter of time before it finds it's way to my left ring finger...til then I'll see you in my DREAMs 'Shine!
(NOT BAD for under $11,000 pre-tax right?RIGHT!..*plots on it*)

What's does your dream ring look like?

Let me take you PLNDR...

There's a million and one "exclusive" shopping sites that offer sales that run for a certain number of days and often have everything(from home accessories to second hand luxury brand purses) for more than half off. One of my favorite sites to shop on is PLNDR.com (Karmaloops' sister...and more cheaper site). I've ordered a few Hellz Bellz, Married to the Mob and DimePiece t-shirts as a graduation gift. birthday gift and of course to treat myself for about $10 each. Unlike other sales sites Plndr only carries brand new (unused items) so you can rest assure your order will arrive looking like the website pics.I've had a bad experience with ordering from a different site before.

My most recent purchase was this Wildfox over sized tee:

Wildfox Couture t shirt
I like to "research" things before I buy them to make sure I'm getting the best deal. I hate buying something then a week later it goes on sale. This shirt is available on different websites (including Wildfox's official site) for regular price($77-78 depending on the site) and I can proudly say I paid less than half of that INCLUDING shipping and tax! If your a girl like me who wants to look good w/o breaking your pockets signing up for a FREE account is definitely worth it. They also have guys stuff and yes I've bought my hubby a few shirts from the site as well.

So if you do end up ordering from the site, use my rep code: h0n3yb00 (all zero's) and get a discount (the amount will vary on your purchase) GUARANTEED!

My order arrived a lil over a week after I ordered it and the packaging was in tact. Overall, I have nothing but           good things to say about this site.
Below is a few examples of the shirts I've bought from the site:

Current Obsession: Hippie Chic

As the summer is coming to an end I find myself INSPIRED by "hippie"/boho fashion. It's easy to see why my fav.celeb fashionistas (like Nicole Richie and Vanessa Hudgens) LOVE this trend. It's stylish and effortless. Perfect for these scorching summer days and warm nights.

I picked up a feather hair clip @ Venice Beach the beginning of the summer when they were harder to find. I went to the mall this weekend and seen a few at different stores.

What's your favorite hippie inspired look or article of clothing?

RIP *Elizabeth Taylor*

Feb.27th,1932-Mar.23rd,2o11

All kinda info. on Elizabeth Taylor here: WiKiPeDia

I absolutely LOVE Elizabeth Taylor...I think she is one of the main reasons at a young age I LOVED the Old Hollywood Glamour style. She's always been so glamourous and elegant. How could you watch her and not want to be a star? So inspiring. For a woman that had everything most people dreamed of, she was never arrogant. Instead, she became the face of the fight against AIDS when it was looked at as nothing more than a death sentence.

There's a reason people are so touched by her passing. Her legacy will forever live on as one of Hollywood's brightest stars.

LOVE YOU ELIZABETH!!!

The most vivid memory I have of her is the black and white "White Diamonds" perfume commercial where she takes one of her diamond earrings off and hands it to a handsome James Bond-ish gentleman man.LOVES IT!

Another reason I've always loved Ms. Taylor is she reminds me SOOOO much of my grandma! She looks like the Filipino Elizabeth...diamonds and all!

SO to pay my respects I'm definitely planning a nice lunch in Hollwood and gonna pay her star a visit.FYI instead of flowers she rather you donate to her foundation:ETAF

P.S. I seen/read something about The Abbey having a special shrine in the VIP section for her.Looks like I'm gonna have to hit up my fab gays and pay that shrine a visit,LOVE!
